Air College International is a company that provides consultation services and academic training for Chinese students who wanted to apply to the top universities in the United States. Training is conducted by consultants and trainers from the U.S ivy League universities, mostly from Harvard, located in the U.S, Shanghai, HongKong, and rest of the world.

Brief
The main aim of Air College International is to improve, transform, and to change every student’s careers and prospects after they’ve attained their degree and certifications from their dream universities. They wanted to reflect their brand values in their logo, so they approach me to design this for them.
Challenge
Our initial discussion was extensive and yet fruitful. With a comprehensive project brief as a base point, we managed to determine where we stand and how we can advance. The consensus is that the mark shouldn’t look too much like a school badge because the brand is not.
Solution
After a week-long of intensive research, sketching and conceptualising comes the big day to present the concept to the client.
The mortarboard was used as the fundamental element in the mark because it aligns with Air College International’s business purposes. We can see this from the top view that the mortarboard was joined with the initial letters of Air College International – With “A” in the negative space, the “C” and “I” forming the rest of the logo.
Nothing feels more satisfying than putting a big smile on your clients’ face.
